Intermediate Courses

At present the intermediate courses are being conducted under the guidance of Jharkhand Academic council on the Pattern of CBSE courses. Courses in Science (I.Sc.), Commerce (I.Com) and Arts (IA) are offered to those who have passed out of schools and cover practically all the important branches of learning at this stage. Students learn the art of effective communication through debates and elocutions organised periodically in the college. Besides these there are some regular college functions and activities which the students are urged to participate in.

Academic Flexibility

This institution is offering only undergraduate and post graduate programmes recognized by Kolhan University. Besides these the college also offers vocational degree courses in all three basic faculties. B.Sc. vocational degree in Computer Application and B.Com vocational degree in business management are offered by the college. Skill development course is offered under the National University Students Skill Development Programme by tie up with Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai.

In all faculties General courses are offered in which students choose any three subjects of their choice from the respective faculty and pursue general education.

No dual degree is offered by the college. Those students who are enrolled in skill development course are taught foundation course and domain course. After completion of each of this course they are awarded certificate/diploma by TISS.

Academic mobility is not possible during degree course, as once registered for particular course students have no choice of change or any academic mobility.

Vocational courses like B.Sc (voc) B.Com (voc) and B.Ed are running as self financing courses. These courses are different from other programmes with regard to admission, fee structure, salary of teachers and their appointment.

Skill development program is running in this institution in collaboration with TISS.

Only face to face conventional type of education is offered.
